AIOU to mark Iqbal Day on November
25

Justice ( R ) Dr. Javed Iqbal to deliver keynote address on “The soul of
Islamic culture”
Islamabad
– 12th November 2013 “Allama
Iqbal Open University(AIOU) will mark ‘Iqbal Day’ on November 25 at 10:00 a.m. in
its main Auditorium, in this connection a special function has been arranged in
which Farzand-e-Iqbal, Justice ( R ) Dr.
Javed Iqbal will deliver his keynote address on “The soul of Islamic culture”
while Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Ahsan Iqbal will
grace the occasion as a Chief Guest. Vice-Chancellor, AIOU Prof. Dr. Nazir
Ahmed Sangi will preside over the function”
This
was announced by Prof. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Kamran, Chairman, Department of Iqbaliyat,
AIOU.
Prof.
Dr. Shahid Iqbal Kamran will highlight and introduce the Iqbal Day function in
detail while Iqbal Feroz, Patron-in-Chief, Rebaat-e-Iqbal will address on the
topic “Iqbal ka Pegham Nojawano Kay Ley” .
Iqbal
Day function is being held by the Department of Iqbaliyat, Allama Iqbal Open
University(AIOU) with the support and
collaboration of Directorate of Students Advisory, AIOU and ‘Rebaat-e-Iqbal Pakistan’.
400
copies of ‘Kulyat-e-Iqbal Urdu’ would also be distributed amongst the participants
on the occasion.
