AIOU’s
admissions continue with late fee charges till
September 2
Islamabad
– 21st August ( 2013 ) “The admissions of the
Allama Iqbal Open University(AIOU) from Matric
to MA/M.Sc level programmes for the Semester Autumn, 2013 are continue with
late fee charges till September 2.
This
was announced by Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain, Director Admissions, AIOU. He further said
that admission forms and prospectuses for all programmes can be obtained from
the sale points at Main Campus of the University in Islamabad, Regional
Campuses and Coordinating Offices across the country.
Director
Admissions said that Late fee charges of Matric Rs.100/-, Intermediate, PTC and
BA Rs.200/- and Postgrduate / B.Ed Programmes are Rs.500/-.
Admission
forms along-with the required fee, he said can be submitted at the nation- wide
branches of Habib Bank Ltd., First Women Bank, Bank Alfalah, Allied Bank and at
the designated branches of National Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial
Bank. The detail of designated branches is available in the prospectuses as
well as in the Regional Offices. Fee in shape of bank draft / pay order will
not be accepted.
According
to Director Admissions, M.Sc is being offered in Economics, Pakistan Studies,
Gender & Women Studies, M.Com (Accounting & Finance). MBA with
specializations (HRM, Marketing, IT, Banking & Finance), Rural Management
on ODL and Commonwealth (COL) MBA/MPA are being offered. MA is offered in (Arabic,
Islamic Studies and Urdu), Post Graduate Diploma in (Gender & Women Studies
and HRM), In Bachelor’s programme, BS
(Computer Science), Mass Communication, B.Com, Library and Information Science,
BA and Associate Degree in Commerce (1. Hotel & Restaurant Management (2)
Tourism Management), PTC, B.Ed (General) and B.Ed (Arabic), Intermediate, FA,
I.com, FSc (Pre-Engineering), F.Sc (Pre-Medical), SSC (Matric), Dars-e-Nizami,
BA (Shahadat-ul-Alia), Higher Secondary (Sanvia Khasa) and Secondary (Sanvia
Aama) are also being offered.
Different
Certificate Course (Duration 6 Months), Agricultural Certificate Courses
(Duration 6 months), Open Tech Courses and Short Term Educational Programmes
are being offered in this semester.
