Orientation ceremony for newcomers (fall session 2013) held at Bahria University Islamabad

Islamabad: As per traditions, the orientation ceremony of newly admitted graduate students was held at Bahria University Islamabad. Director Campus and Heads of the Departments were present in the ceremony and was held to welcome freshmen and enlighten them about rules and regulations of the Institution. The ceremony started with the welcome address of the Director Campus Islamabad and he congratulated the students for becoming part of Bahria University. While speaking at the occasion the Director Campus said to the students that being future leaders of Pakistan. Their collective duty is to contribute towards the progress in all fields. He said that since the university provides an ideal environment to its students to develop their potentials, they need to work hard and put in their best towards their studies.

All the Heads of the Departments were introduced to the students to make them familiar with the mechanism of the university. Deputy Director Quality Assurance while emphasizing on the university's commitment to ensure quality higher-education briefed the newly enrolled students about the University's environment and its activities. She informed the young students about university's disciplinary rules and advised them to adopt a well groomed and responsible attitude towards their studies

Mr. Awais Mehmood, Deputy Director (FCP) briefed about the foreign collaboration programs of Bahria University while Program Officer (SRC) briefed the audience about the extra-curriculum activities of the students of university. After the session the students were entertained with refreshments. The day concluded with a tour of the university including the Library, Academic Blocks, Gymnasium, Cafeterias and other prominent places and facilities.
